We have been providing quality electrical services to Canberra and surrounding areas for over 10 years. With our team of highly trained electricians and because we care, we are committed to providing quality service and excellent workmanship on every project.

The team at Shaw Electrix is led by director, Ben Shaw, founding the company 10 years ago. Completing his apprenticeship in the Snowy Mountains, Ben knew that one day he would have his own company and provide quality residential and commercial electrical solutions. Now servicing the ACT and surrounding areas, the services that Shaw Electrix provide and the team have grown from very very humble beginnings.

Ben is a perfectionist at heart, takes immense pride in his work and likes to make things as simple and easy as possible, which, let’s face it – are all positives for you! When he isn’t at work, Ben is raising his three children with his wife Jade, riding his bike and watching endless videos on YouTube!

A few months ago we got a quote for a few bits of electrical work, including replacing our old oven, replacing all the downlights in the front part of the house, and adding an additional outlet in the garage.
Fast forward to this week, new oven was delivered by Good Guys 2 weeks earlier than we expected so a quick call to Shaw's and they sorted us out today, all done quickly and neatly in less than three hours and no change from the quote from mid-July.

The installation was totally stress-free; they kept me informed of the process from start to finish, and gave me plenty of notice for planning around power being switched off during installation. They were careful with my freshly-painted roof and didn't leave a single piece of rubbish afterwards. I was eligible to access the ACT Sustainable Household Scheme to finance my solar, and Shaw helped guide me through the application process.
